The flag football season runs from the end of April to end of June. Registration opens on February 1st and goes until March 1st but we may take late registration in order to fill teams/divisions depending on numbers.
The league is split into following divisions for the new 2022 Football Canada mandated age groups and names: U8 (Previously called Novice for ages 6-7), U10 (Previously called Atom for ages 8-9), U12 (Previously called Peewee for ages 10-11) and U14 (Previously called Jr. Bantam for ages 12-13). Players may move up or down in divisions as requested or required based on evaluations by the league. Divisions may also be combined based on player numbers as well.
The league plays on Sunday afternoons at East Lake Park Fields (two parking lots off of East Lake Road on north side of East Lake across from Genesis Place and Bert Church High School) at both East and West fields on either side of the tennis courts. Each session includes a 30-45 minute practice and 45-60 minute game. We are located at East Lake Park Fields unless noted otherwise.
The flag football season will begin with an evaluation day (TBD, in late March or early April) and will run for 8 weeks starting at the end of April depending on weather (no sessions on Victoria Day weekend). The season ends with a year-end tournament and free BBQ. Times below are subject to change and final schedule will be determined after registration closes.
