Registration for the upcoming season opens February 1 and will be available until March 31 (or until the league is full). Fees will not be required for registration, but will be due from April 1 to April 15. Further information will be emailed when you register.
Our league is run entirely by volunteers and we need your help. Volunteers are needed in all areas and specifically for game day Coaches and Field Marshalls. Give your time each Sunday to receive a discount on your registration fee.
Families that registered and were partially refunded in the 2020/2021 seasons: Your 2022 registration fees will be reduced accordingly. Thank you for your support!
Please note, refunds will not be provided after April 15, except in the case of a medical emergency or injury. In which case, the board will review and respond at our discretion.

General League Details
The flag football season runs from the end of April to end of June. Registration opens in February and usually runs until end of March.
The league plays on Sunday afternoons at East Lake Park on both the East and West fields (on either side of the tennis courts). Each session includes a 45-60 minute practice and 30-45 minute game.
The flag football season will begin with an evaluation day (TBD) and will run for 8 weeks starting at the end of April, depending on weather (no sessions on Victoria Day weekend). The season ends with a year-end playoff tournament and free BBQ at the end of June.
Times are subject to change and final schedule will be determined after registration closes.Division/age groups may also be subject to change depending on numbers.
The following divisions are available for registration:
U8 "Novice" Division (for players age 6-7 as of July 1) 5 vs 5 Coach Passing One or two Offensive Coach(s) calling plays and passing the ball for players as QB. Defensive coach(s) to be on sideline once plays commence.
U10 "Atom" Division
(for players age 8-9 as of July 1) 5 vs 5 Player Passing One Offensive Coach on the field calling plays but with a player at QB. Defensive coach(s) to be on sideline once plays commence.
U12 "Peewee" Division (for players age 10-11 as of July 1) 5 vs 5 Player Passing One Offensive Coach on the field calling plays but with a player at QB. Defensive coach(s) to be on sideline once plays commence.
U14 "Jr. Bantam" Division
(for players age 12-13 as of July 1) 5 vs 5 Players Passing One Offensive Coach on the field calling plays but with a player at QB. Defensive coach(s) to be on sideline once plays commence.
Birth certificates and Alberta Health numbers are required for age and insurance verification.
All equipment is provided (this includes a jersey, flags and mouth guard), with the exception of shorts/pants and cleats/runners to be the responsibility of the player (no pockets on the shorts/pants and no metal cleats allowed). The jersey and mouth guard are yours to keep as part of your registration. All players are recommended to have a mouth guard on while in the field of play. Players can provide their own mouth guard if they so chose.
